ー 世界を席巻するルーマニアン・ダンスミュージックシーンの最前線 ー

世界のミニマルテクノ／ハウスシーンを席巻中のルーマニアンサウンドを紹介するパーティー “Beat In Me” が今回代官山AIRの跡地に新たに登場した "Sankeys TYO" に初めて場所を移し、その記念すべき10回目の開催を迎える。

シーンのトップである[a:rpia:r] (Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Raresh) を始めとして、今現在最も重要なアーティストをピンポイントで的確に招聘するその妥協のない方向性がアンダーグラウンドシーンにおいて強く支持され、パーティーは音好きで良質な客層と共に毎回素晴らしいヴァイブスの溢れるフロアを体現している。

前回２月13日にLIQUIDROOMにて開催された特別版では、シーンのNo.1、Rhadooと共に[a:rpia:r]のオフィシャルVJであるDreamrec VJを同時招聘。およそ現地でしか味わう事のできない世界観を再現、本年度最高とも言える一晩を演出したのは記憶に新しいところである。

今回メインアクトに登場するのは、その[a:rpia:r]ファミリーの重要人物の一人Priku
2012年に[a:rpia:r]からリリースされたソロEPを始め、彼のそのプロダクションの質の高さは、ルーマニアシーンの並みいるハイレベルなプロデューサーの中でも特に頭一つ抜けた存在と言っていいであろう。2013年にスタートした自身のレーベル "Motif" では、確実に他と一線を画す素晴らしい楽曲の数々を発表している。

プレイスタイルはその楽曲のイメージを引き継いだ、硬派で漆黒のグルーブを纏ったテクノライクな選曲主体で、Sunwaves始めヨーロッパ中の数々の大舞台でその実力は既に証明されている。

オーガナイザーRAHAが予てからその招聘を熱望していた彼の来日が今回実現する。

加えて、Fuse Londonに所属し日本人アーティストとして世界を股に活躍するJun AkimotoをBeat In Meのメインフロアーに初招聘。海外基準の感性によって作り出されるこの日のフロアーは、最後の最後まで目が放せないものになるであろう。

またオーガナイザーでもあるBeat In Me レジデントDJのRAHAは、ルーマニア・ロシアと続いたヨーロッパ・ツアーからの帰国直後のプレイとなり、海外でのその成果をこの日存分に見せてくれるであろう。

新しい場所での最初の音を出してもらう事になるであろうRyokeiは自身のパーティー "How High" をCircus Tokyoにて展開中。安定したハイクオリティーなフロアーコントロールを期待して欲しい。

新たにTAPROOMと名付けられたB1フロアーでは、" ARTEMIS 'The Mojito' LOUNGE '' が開催される。UNIT/SALOONを拠点に、音楽的に非常に質の高いパーティーを展開中のARTEMISクルーがこのフロアーをプロデュース。今回は千葉muiをホームに活動するWada Yosukeをゲストに迎え、レッツモヒートを合言葉に夏を先取りする。独自のぶれのない確かな審美眼で常に間違いのない音を提供してくれる彼らの担当するこのフロアーは、メインフロアーに勝るとも劣らず最高のバイブスのフロアーになる事であろう。

"Beat In Me"、新たな場所での記念すべき初の開催となる今回、一人でも多くの人に体験してもらいたい。ダンスミュージックの最前線を、この日リアルに体感してほしい。

Heading the front line of the Romanian dance music scene which is taking the world by storm.

"Beat In Me" presents the Romanian sound which is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with on the minimal techno and house scene. This “Beat In Me” will be held at “Sanseis TYO” which just opened where Daikanyama AIR was.

The party has already featured some of Romania's leading and best artists, including [a:rpia:r]'s Rhadoo and Petre Inspirescu, gaining more than a few dedicated followers in the process.

In this installment, we welcome as headline act the most popular and most important artist in the [a:rpia:r] repertoire - none other than Priku. He's highly reputed for the quality of his production work, and his releases from his own label “Motif” is very original and high-end sounds.

Raha, the organizer of the party, Jun Akimoto, and ARTEMIS Crew is also make this party groovy.

"Beat In Me” is coming back to where it belong. We hope you join us to witness the front line of modern dance music in the flesh.

Priku ([a:rpia:r] / Romania)
ルーマニア出身のPrikuことAdrian Niculaeは、努力を惜しまず情熱を持って楽曲制作に取り組むクリエイターだ。2007年にSunrise Bookingに加入した彼は、Sunwavesでのパフォーマンスをきっかけに注目を集め、ルーマニア国外ではRobert Johnson、Amnesia、Kazantip Festival、Tenax、Concreteといったヨーロッパ各地の有名クラブ/フェスティバルに出演を果たしてきた。また、プロデューサーとしては[a:rpia:r]をはじめAll Inn、Concret Music、Only 300 Familyといったレーベルから楽曲をリリースしてきたほか、Cocoon Green & Blue 2011やCocoon Heroesのコンピレーションにも彼のトラックが収録されている。
2012年には、[a:rpia:r]から自身3枚目となるソロEP「Bobohalma」を発表し、高い評価を獲得。また2013年は、自身のレーベルMotifを設立したほか、本名のAdrian Niculae名義でのソロEP「Acoustic」をリリースし、収録曲がRhadooのミックスによる『fabric 72』にフィーチャーされるなど、彼にとってターニングポイントとなる年だった。若く才能のある彼は、2016年、新レーベル兼パーティーシリーズのAtipicを立ち上げた。

Coming from Romania, Adrian Niculae a.k.a. Priku established himself as a hard working and passionate music creator. He is a member of Sunrise booking since 2007, making his way up to the big gigs through many noticeable Sunwaves performances. He released on labels such as [a:rpia:r], All Inn, Fabric, Concrete Music and Only 300 Family, his name is also on Cocoon Green & Blue 2011 and Cocoon Heroes compilations. Party people had the chance to enjoy his sounds at Robert Johnson, Amnesia, Kazantip Festival, Tenax, Concrete and all across Europe.

In 2012, Bobohalma Ep was released on [a:rpia:r] label. This was a resounding success, highly appreciated by everybody who had the chance to listen it.

2013 is a turning point for Priku. He creates his own label: Motif and releases a new solo – Acoustic Ep under his real name, Adrian Niculae, the name that’s also present on Fabric 72. He’s young and and undeniably talented. In 2016 started a new label and series of parties called Atipic.

He tackles the groove as nobody else. For him things can only go uphill.’
