世界を席巻するルーマニアン・ダンスミュージックシーンの最前線

現在、世界のミニマルテクノ・ハウスシーンを凄まじい勢いで席巻しているルーマニアンサウンドを紹介していくパーティ “Beat In Me”が、８回目の開催を迎える。

シーンのトップである[a:rpia:r] (Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Raresh) を始めとして、今現在最も重要なアーティストをピンポイントで的確に招聘するその妥協のない方向性がアンダーグラウンドシーンにおいて強く支持され、パーティーは音好きで良質な客層と共に毎回素晴らしいヴァイブスの溢れるフロアを体現している。

今回メインアクトに登場するのは、その[a:rpia:r]ファミリーの中でも古くからの最重要人物の一人・Dan Andrei。[a:rpia:r] 02において、レーベルを主催する３人以外から楽曲を初めて取り上げられたのがこのDan Andreiその人である事からも、彼の存在の大きさが伺えるであろう。 プロダクションのクオリティーの高さ・その彼の実力の評価の高さは、また2014年12月にリリースされたRareshによる [a:rpia:r] 最新EPの中の４曲が、RareshのOriginalとあとの３曲のRemixerが、Ricardo Villalobos, Petre Inspirescu、そしてこのDan Andreiであるという事実からも知る事ができる。

FBなどを始めとするメディアへの露出を極力抑える彼の真の凄さは、その数々の優秀な楽曲はもちろんだが、同時に現場のクラブでのDJプレイを通して、より正しく知る事ができると言えよう。そのdeepでgroovy且つamazingなmixは海外のシーンではもう広く知られるところ。今回Beat In Meでその彼のプレイが実現する。

B1フロアーは2015年９月に始動したドメスティック・レーベルのINITがプロデュースする。先月リリースされたレーベルコンピレーションはヨーロッパのVinylサイトのchartでも最高７位に入るなど国内外で高い注目を集めており、その出演者各人も、海外チャートのトップを獲得するなどそれぞれがワールドワイドな活躍を見せている。

そして、先日衝撃の発表となった今年いっぱいでのAIR閉店に伴い、この空間で味わえるBeat In Meはこれが最後の機会となる。必ずや、いつもに増して魔法のかかったメモリアルな夜になるであろう。

"Beat In Me" presents the Romanian sound which is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with on the minimal techno and house scene. The party has already featured some of Romania's leading and best artists, including [a:rpia:r]'s Rhadoo and Petre Inspirescu, gaining more than a few dedicated followers in the process. In this installment, we welcome as headline act the most popular and most important artist in the [a:rpia:r] repertoire - none other than Dan Andrei. He's highly reputed for the quality of his production work, and his deep and groovy DJ set is sure to demonstrate his pure and utter amazingness. This will be the last "Beat In Me" to take place at this venue. We hope you join us to witness the front line of modern dance music in the flesh.

ルーマニアのシーンにおいて認められた才能のうちの1人、Dan Andreiは、素晴らしいプロデューサーであると同時に、今注目すべきDJでもある。彼の作品は、ルーマニアシーンのトップレーベルである [a:rpia:r] やBe Chosen, Kurbitsをはじめとするレーベルからリリースされている。クラブへ行ったことがある人ならば、一度は彼のプロダクションを耳にしたことがあるだろう。

彼はハウスのみに影響を受けているわけではなく、ロックやヒップホップ、ソウル、ファンク、トリップホップなどに強い影響を受けてきた。

現在、ソーシャルメディアはアーティストのプロモーション活動にとって最高の手段となっているが、Dan Andreiはそれを好まない一人だ。彼をFacebookで見つけるよりも、彼がRicardo Villalobosや[a:rpia:r]と共に回していたり、Sunwavesでプレイしている姿を見つける方が容易だろう。

彼はヨーロッパ各地を数多くのギグで飛び回っているほか、そのSunwavesにはヘッドライナーとして出演。この夏もヨーロッパで様々なギグをこなしたほか、今後は注目のコラボレーション作のリリースも控えている。

One of Romania’s confirmed talents, Dan Andrei is a extraordinary producer and also a DJ to watch. His releases can be found on imprints like Arpiar, Be Chosen or Kurbits, just to name a few. You haven’t been to a club if you didn’t hear at least once one of his productions. Or maybe you went to the wrong clubs, it’s the same.

Various gigs around Europe keep him busy. He is headlining the Sunwaves festival, he has more than a few gigs around Europe this summer, and he’s also working on some hot new collabs. We’ll be the first to know, so stay tuned.
